May i know why not hdfc or star or care? Whats the coverage needed for our family I'm 34 my wife is 28 kid is 3 months old.

Ans: Star health insurance reputation has taken a severe beating due to high claim rejection offlate. Similar thing with Care.
I am just asking you to evaluate their (Niva Bupa/Bajaj Allianz) plans before you sign up for HDFC ergo.

Thanks for the response but i heard hdfc ergo is good. Where they will provide good response and settled in 30min and branded thats the reason premium is high. It a one time decision in life thats the be reason thinking to take a good one..

Ans: I had Apollo Munich health insurance since 2009. When it got acquired by HDFC, my policy came under HDFC ergo. My experience has not been good. Service levels are pathetic compared to the price they charge. Infact I am porting my policy to another insurer now. Ultimately it is your choice.

Thanks for the suggestion. Im planning to take for my self and spouse and kid 3 months old boy. Can I go with 1cr policy with hdfc erg, the premium 42k yearly or 50 lacks coverage is fine? With hdfc ergo 38k. Would you suggest any other best insurnace which i should not face any problems at the time of claim and 100% paid by the insurance.

The validity of the caste certificate is one year. You may use the same certificate for application purposes, but you must have a valid one, including the creamy layer and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) status, at the time of admission. Your admission will be based on this. Therefore, it is advisable to obtain a new certificate as soon as possible.

Ans: With 83.92 percentile (OBC category) in JEE Mains, getting CSE in top NITs/IIITs is difficult, but you might have chances in lower NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs in later rounds or spot rounds.
