Early morning around 4.30 am i have 12 to 15 gms of oats and this helps in avoiding low sugar and keeps my fasting morning sugar around 80 to 90 at 7.30 am. Is it ok to continue this practice.

Ans: You need to modify your dinner time anti diabetic medications so to ensure that you dont have to eat early in morning.
What you have indicated points towards fact that you might be going towards hypoglycemia.
after taking oats or anything, the values taken in the morning are not fasting.
The fasting blood sugar means - values after atleast 8 or preferably 10 hours after previous meal or any eating.

Please consult a physician to get this resolved.
