Is NIOS class 10th improvement marks considered as valid for calculating API score of assistant professor in Assam or not because in Assam Class 10th to Master degree performance records are being calculated as API score hence I have a big doubt about the NIOS class 10th improvement marks please kindly clarify my confusion

Ans: Hi Pinku,

According to the Assam State Government guidelines released on January 29, 2022, the API score calculation takes into account the scores from the 10th, 12th, undergraduate (UG), and postgraduate (PG) examinations. For the 10th and 12th grades, candidates are required to have completed their courses, which can be either the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or an equivalent exam, as well as the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) or an equivalent exam. Notably, the guidelines do not mention anything regarding improvement marks, which implies that these may also be accepted. Additionally, the distribution of marks for the 10th grade is based on the scores achieved by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
There’s no need to worry; just move forward.

BEST OF LUCK.

I have given 2 attempts in neet but unfortunately couldn't clear it...I have completed my graduation from local degree college. Now I'm thinking of doing my post graduation from lucknow university with masters in public health. Is it a good idea?
Ans: HI,
Why couldn't you succeed? The reason may be that you completed your undergraduate degree simultaneously. If you had planned properly, you would have been able to pass the NEET exam. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

NO. Once again, you seem to be making a mistake. Why did you choose Public Health? Do you understand its scope? If you don't, then why are you pursuing it?

Let me remind you that anyone can appear for NEET after completing a BSc. Here are the requirements.
B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than
two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and further that he/ she has passed
the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

BEST WISHES.
