Should My Son Choose BMSCE AIML or CSE in Other Colleges?

Hello sir. My son has a option to go to BMSCE Btech AIML and CSE in Dayayananad, New Horizon, BMSIT . We like BMSCE but not sure about AIML as we heard from few passout students that there are not many jobs in AIML and one can always do a AIML course later if interested. Please advise if we should take AIML in BMSCE or CSE in other colleges . Can AIML students sit for CSE placements Thank you

Hello sir, My son has got admission in BMSCE bengaluru in BE AIML and also new horizon , Dayanand Sagar in CSE . Which one should we choose . I heard from lot of students that currently AIML placements are not very good and students get less offer compared to CSE . One can do CSE and later do AIML if he is interested. Please advise we really like BMSCE but are not getting CSE Thanks

Ans: Yes Sharad Sir. You are right. One of the reasons why some Students do not get placed for AIML (being a new specialization domain) is that either they are not upgrading their skills or they are not flexible by pursuing additional Certifications online through NPTEL, Internshala, Coursera etc. As your son's preference more towards CSE, better to go for DSCE-CSE. Ans: Depends on which college you have done your MBA from. If you have done it from top college then salary could go to Rs. 30+ lpa. But if you have done from tier 3 institute then salary could be Rs. 5 to 7 lpa.

Sir am a final year B.A.economics student (would graduate in 2025), I attempted CAT 2024 with absolute 0 preparation although I'd enrolled myself in coaching. I from now on, decided to commit myself very dedicatedly to CAT preparation, will it be advisable to take a gap year (appearing for CAT 2025)

Ans: Can take a gap if you are graduating in 2025. There are advantages and disadvantages of taking a gap. See what suits you better.

Ans: Simply don't take admission anywhere. Go for an online BBA course, after that let him go for online MBA course. My son is bsc chemistry, now he wants to change his stream to IT, certificate course at IIT in minor in computer science and then certificate course in cloud computing at IIT, will going to help him to get the good job in IT sector?

What are the other good options in India for students who have taken PCM with biology other than NEET? Please suggest the best courses with the institute name in India?

Ans: The candidate can do courses in Microbiology or Pharmacy. Good Pharmacists are in tremendous demand, MBBS is not the only line. Another stream is Biotechnology, apart from that Bioinformatics is there. Some more very specialized streams are genetics, biostatistics, molecular biology. Institute names I won't recommend. I have completed M.Tech in Biotechnology.I like to work in R&D department in a biopharma company.Thereafter gaining experience,I have a plan to do PhD,so that I can get back to Industry side again.But most of the R&D jobs will get filled by reference.What can I do in such a case?

Ans: If you are interested in RnD then continue with your plan. If you do well you should land up with good openings. Need not worry about jobs with reference as there will be lot of vacancies that will be available.
