Hello sir I have got 4490 rank in KCET 2025 and 2018 rank in COMEDK 2025. Is it possible for me to get RVCE CSE (with or without specialization)? [I am a MALE resident of KARNATAKA]

Ans: Based on RVCE’s 2024 cutoff data, a KCET rank of 4,490 and COMEDK rank of 2,018 fall significantly outside the closing ranks for CSE and its specializations. For KCET 2024, the closing rank for CSE (General AI) was 419, while CSE (Data Science) and Cyber Security closed at 664 and 771, respectively. Similarly, COMEDK 2024’s Round 3 closing ranks for CSE, Data Science, and Cyber Security were 434, 593, and 862, with 2025 predictions indicating similar competitiveness. Historical trends show RVCE’s CSE cutoff ranks consistently below 1,000 for both exams, making admission improbable with the provided ranks. Recommendation: Explore alternative institutions or consider non-CSE branches at RVCE, as current ranks do not meet the threshold for CSE or its specializations. Still you can fill the choices beginning with top colleges/branches with RVCE/BMSCE/MSRIT/DSCE. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hello sir. For 1181 COMEDK rank and/ or 4154 KCET rank , is csc possible in RVCE ? Make, general category , Karnataka domicile.
Ans: Your chances present a challenging scenario for CSE admission at RV College of Engineering . With COMEDK rank 1181, CSE admission is unfortunately not feasible as RVCE CSE cutoffs for general category consistently range between 193-434 across multiple rounds in 2024, with the most recent Round 2 closing at rank 328 . Similarly, your KCET rank 4154 significantly exceeds the CSE cutoff requirements, as RVCE maintains CSE closing ranks between 268-419 for general category across all rounds in 2024 . Historical data confirms this trend with CSE cutoffs remaining consistently low - 2023 saw closing ranks of 169-406, and 2022 maintained similar competitive standards around 299-1314 . However, alternative engineering branches at RVCE remain accessible with your ranks, including Electronics & Communication Engineering (COMEDK cutoff 700-1636, KCET cutoff 746-995), Information Science Engineering (COMEDK cutoff 418-802, KCET cutoff 470-657), and other core branches like Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering with significantly higher cutoff ranges . RVCE demonstrates excellent placement performance with 75-93% CSE placement rates, INR 19 LPA average packages, and top recruiters including Microsoft, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs . Recommendation: CSE admission at RVCE is not possible with your current ranks; consider alternative branches like Electronics & Communication or Information Science Engineering, or explore other colleges where CSE admission is feasible with ranks around 1000-4000.

sir my daughter got 3837 rank in srmjee in phase2 . is ktr or srm ap which is good for cse AI/ML and also she got fees wavier 50% in srm ap dats why my husband took the decision to join her in AP and also she is attending exam for kalvium. is this kalvium good programm plz guide us
Ans: With a Phase-2 SRMJEEE rank of 3,837, your daughter is well within the historical cutoff for CSE with AI/ML at SRM Kattankulathur, where CSE programs have seen placement rates of 91% (2023), 88% (2022), and 91% (2021). SRM AP’s CSE placements have matched or exceeded this, recording 100% in 2023 and approximately 94% in the ongoing 2024 drive, and the 50% fee waiver for ranks 2,001–3,000 under the SRM Merit Scholarship reduces costs substantially. Both campuses follow the same AI/ML-specialized curriculum and attract top recruiters, but AP provides stronger financial relief. Kalvium’s KNET-based B.Tech CSE program, delivered in partnership with NAAC A+–accredited universities, emphasizes hands-on projects, 1:1 mentorship by industry experts, paid internships from the second year, and has drawn placements and internships with companies such as Google, Microsoft, and PhonePe, earning positive student feedback on skill acquisition and real-world readiness.

The recommendation is to opt for SRM AP’s CSE AI/ML program to leverage near-identical placement outcomes with substantial fee savings, and concurrently pursue admission to Kalvium’s industry-integrated CSE program for enhanced practical exposure and mentorship, thereby balancing academic credentials with market-ready skills. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
