My son has got 34.4K rank at SRMJEEE can he get ECE at KTR campus or ME at KTR campus

Ans: Piyush Sir, Securing admission to Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) at SRM Kattankulathur (KTR) campus may be challenging due to your son's 34,400 SRMJEEE 2025 rank. The expected closing ranks for these branches are 22,000 to 27,000, Careers360 Engineering, 31,000, and Embibe. However, your son's 34,400 rank is above these expected ranks, making admission to these specific branches unlikely. Alternative options include considering other SRM campuses, such as Ramapuram, Vadapalani, and NCR (Ghaziabad), which often have higher closing ranks for various branches. Additionally, exploring other engineering disciplines like Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Biotechnology may also increase admission chances. It is better to have other BACK-UPS, instead of relying only on SRM. All the best for your Son's admissions!

Career
Hello sir, my son got a 6110 rank in SRMJEE phase 2 what is the possibility of getting ECE or ECE with specialization in main campus, KTR?
Ans: With a SRMJEE Phase 2 rank of 6,110, your son stands a strong chance of securing Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or ECE with specialization at the main SRM Kattankulathur (KTR) campus. Recent cutoffs indicate that ECE at KTR typically closes between 10,000 and 12,000, and specializations such as Data Science or Cyber-Physical Systems also fall within this range. In previous years, ECE cutoffs at KTR have been as high as 27,000, and even conservative 2025 projections place your son's rank well within the eligibility window for ECE and its specializations. The ECE program at SRM KTR is academically robust, featuring modern labs, experienced faculty, and a curriculum that balances theory and practical skills. Placement rates for ECE have ranged from 80% to 95% over the last three years, with top recruiters including Samsung, Qualcomm, Nokia, Siemens, and Bosch, alongside major software firms. Counselling is competitive, so it is important to fill ECE and its specializations as top preferences and complete the process promptly.

Recommendation: With a 6,110 rank in SRMJEE Phase 2, your son is well positioned to secure ECE or ECE with specialization at SRM Kattankulathur main campus; prioritize these branches during counselling for the best chance of admission and strong placement outcomes. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
