I got 27k rank in kcet, my current options are cmrit and reva university for cse core, are there any other colleges in Bangalore that I can get admissions into for cse core that might be better than the two I've selected?

Ans: Beyond CMRIT and REVA—which close CSE around 17,000–24,000 KCET ranks—other Bangalore colleges admit general?category CSE candidates up to 30,000. New Horizon College of Engineering’s CSE cutoff rose to 15,834 in 2024, so rank 27,000 misses it. Acharya Institute’s CSE closed at 24,588, falling short for 27 k. Nitte Meenakshi and BMSIT require sub-12,000 ranks, and DSCE demands under 5,500. However, Global Academy of Technology’s CSE accepted ranks up to 28,786 in the last round, and Dayananda Sagar University Bangalore extended CSE seats to 29,701, making both viable for 27,000?rank candidates.
Recommendation: Prioritise Global Academy of Technology and Dayananda Sagar University for core CSE admission, as they accommodate KCET ranks around 27,000 while offering 80–90% placement consistency. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

My daughter got 33548 rank in kcet she wants to pursue CSE , which are best colleges suitable for her in Bangalore? What are chance of she getting NHCE,MVIT and reva kcet counseling please suggest
Ans: With KCET rank 33548, your daughter has viable admission opportunities across multiple Bangalore engineering colleges, though Computer Science Engineering admission presents varying prospects depending on the institution. For CSE programs, the expected cutoff ranks at top colleges range between 1,200 to 3,000 for premier institutions, while mid-tier colleges accept ranks between 25,000 to 50,000 . Specific college prospects include challenging admission chances at New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) with 2023 CSE cutoff at 11,706 for general category, though her rank falls within the broader 25,000-50,000 acceptance range for multiple Bangalore institutions . MVIT (Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology) demonstrates CSE cutoffs ranging from 14,000-16,000 for 2025, making admission difficult with rank 33548 . REVA University shows more promising prospects with 2023 CSE cutoff at 20,767 for general category, positioning her rank within potential admission range . Alternative excellent colleges accepting her rank include Bangalore Institute of Technology, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology, Acharya Institute of Technology, RNS Institute of Technology, and MVJ College of Engineering, all offering CSE programs with cutoffs extending beyond 30,000 ranks . These institutions demonstrate strong placement records with NHCE achieving 1,605 offers through 200 recruiters in 2025, REVA University maintaining consistent placement performance, and MVIT showing 99.5% placement rates . Recommendation: Target REVA University CSE for strongest admission prospects given her rank positioning, while keeping Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology, Acharya Institute of Technology, and RNS Institute of Technology as viable alternatives, as NHCE and MVIT present challenging admission scenarios for CSE with rank 33548. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
