My son is getting Bits Mechanical or Manipal Data science. He do not have any specific choice about technical alignment. Paying fees is possible. What should be the choice ?

Ans: Consider the type of industries and roles he is interested in. It might be helpful for your son to consider his interests, strengths, and long-term career goals when making this decision. If he has a passion for both areas, he might also explore opportunities to combine skills from both fields in his career.

If your son enjoys working with data, algorithms, and has an interest in technology trends, Data Science might be a better fit. Data Science offers a broader range of roles in tech and business, data Science is an emerging field with growing opportunities,

If he prefers working with physical systems, design, and manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering could be more suitable.
Mechanical Engineering is more focused on traditional engineering roles, it is a well-established field with consistent demand.
Ultimately, both fields offer excellent career prospects.
