I have one year experience as a content writer. I already have a master's degree in journalism. As I am not able to see much scope in this field, I am planning to do masters in library science. Is liberary science a good choice?

Ans: Dear , We are surrpised to know that you found your work experience not rewarding. Many of us feel otherwise . It is quite rewarding if you get connected to right source. As far as Library science is concerned, Unlike past it has lost its demand more over digitalisation of Library has changed the entire library management system. So think before you get in library science.

Ans: Take time out to understand what are your likings and what do you not like? Try out things that you don't like to learn in both the fields and then you will have some clarity to make a decision on which stream to choose. Your stream doesn't define your career path always, you can many a times up skill and shift your career paths later on in life too

How good is library science as a degree and career?. I lost my job due to lay off. I already have a master's in journalism.

You have a Degree of Masters in Journalism and thinking of going for Library science.
It would be suggestible to search the job in the same field as you are having experience of journalism.
Switching to a new career mid-way is usually not good and not advisable.

Library Science can be a good career, particularly if you are interested in the intersection of information, technology, and education. Given your background in journalism, you may find this field fulfilling and complementary to your existing skills. Consider focusing on digital aspects of the field, which are growing and in demand.

However, if the aspirants do not perform well, that support will not be effective. Therefore, placement success is largely dependent on the aspirants themselves rather than the institution. To enhance employability, aspirants should focus on acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to meet industry requirements, including eligibility and competency.

My son has been placed in wait list in bits pilani counselling does it means he has a chance his marks are 187. Does bits place every applicant who appears in counselling in wait list?

Sir I applied for pec chandigarh I have freedom fighter quota at State level but pec eligibility criteria is 75% but I didn't eligible for that because I get less marks in maths and because of that I only get 66% I want to ask I will gave my re exam of maths so that I complete my 75 % and eligible for pec Verification of pec has been completed on 3 july and they cancelled my admission So if I eligible for it after my exam they will allow me for admission after There verification sir please answer my questions

Your application cannot be accepted. The basic eligibility criteria for PEC Chandigarh require candidates to achieve a minimum of 75% marks at the time of admission. Since you have scored only 66%, your application will be automatically rejected. So you are supposed to get 75%.
