Did kcet counselling start for pharmd

Ans: HI,
Counselling for Pharm D is currently going on, with the first round option entry closes on tomorrow (July 18) Mock seat will be displayed on July 21.
Important dates:
Option entry (Round 1) July 8-18
Mock seat allotment result: July 21
First round seat allotment result: 28

Instead of a direct Pharm D, join as a lateral entry after B.Pharm. This will have a lot of advantages.

1. NIT Rourkela - Except for the CS group.

2. Mid-Tier NITs (Jalandhar, Durgapur, Kurukshetra, Jamshedpur, Jaipur, Surat) - Specializations include Electronics, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.

3. IIITs / Reputed GFTIs (Luckow, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Pune, Sri City, Ranchi, Mesra) (All India): for CSE/ECE

4. Newer NITs (Other States):
- Top branches in Goa, Patna, and Raipur: ECE/EEE.

Hi Sir, My son got 71 percentile with 4 lakhs rank in general category. And we belongs to ST category with 9713 rank. Can you please suggest is there any chance of getting admission in NIT's?

It is very difficult to secure admission. There are slim chances in JoSAA or CSAB rounds. Otherwise, you can opt for less competitive branches like Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.
