My daughter has scored 98 percentile in JEE mains. She is getting ECE in DTU and NSUT and CS-AI in IGDTUW which is for girls. Her home state is Delhi and category general. Please suggest which is a better option.

Ans: Sumit Sir, With a 98 percentile in JEE Main (expected rank 18,000–22,000), your daughter’s options include ECE at DTU/NSUT and CS-AI at IGDTUW. DTU ECE (2024 cutoff: ~28,173 Home State) and NSUT ECE (~24,457 Home State) offer 85–90% placement rates with core electronics roles at firms like Samsung and Texas Instruments, alongside opportunities in IT through electives. IGDTUW CS-AI (2024 cutoff: ~28,410 Home State) provides 69.3% placements in AI/ML domains via recruiters like Microsoft and Adobe, with a curriculum focused on emerging tech. While DTU/NSUT boast stronger institutional reputations and broader alumni networks, IGDTUW’s specialized AI program aligns with tech industry trends and offers a supportive environment for women in STEM. If her interest lies in AI/software development, prioritize IGDTUW CS-AI for targeted skill development; opt for DTU/NSUT ECE if she prefers a versatile engineering foundation with options to transition into IT sectors. All the BEST for your Daughter's Admission & a Prosperous Future!
