My daughter got 30665 rank in VIT and she got seat in CSE(AI& ML) in Chennai Campus but under Category-4. Also she got 8840 rank in COMEDK and 13665 in EAMCET. We have locked seat in VIT Chennai but due to high fee under category 4 still thinking for admission. Tell me whether she will get any good colleges in COMEDK or EAMCET counseling, which colleges are good as compared to VIT, Chennai

Ans: Hello dear
With COMDEK, your daughter has chances to get admission in tier 2 colleges with affordable fees. If VIT allows you to hold the seat, then well and good. Or, in the meantime, you can search the options in some reputed private colleges with affordable fees for the preferred branch.

Dear sir, my daughter has taken admission in VIT Chennai in CSE cyber physical systems under 2nd category, she scored comedk rank 5528. According to her rank my daughter may get Dayanand Sagar or BIT or NITTE meenakshi. Compare to these comedk colleges, vit Chennai better or comedk colleges for good placements? If comedk colleges are better than VIT Chennai, which comedk colleges are better for her rank? Please guide sir

Ans: Manju Madam, if you are based in Chennai / TN, prefer VIT-C. If you are based in Karnataka / AP / MH, prefer in order of : RVCE | BMSCE | MSRIT DSCE | NITTE | BIT for CSE (Core) or CSE-Specialization like AIML, AIDS etc. It is advised to fill in maximum choices of colleges / streams (daughter prefers) beginning from top colleges (RVCE | BMSCE | MSRIT | DSCE etc.)

CSE-CPS is a new Branch and only 4-5 Universities / Colleges offer this Branch. It is good for higher studies abroad. Just tell your daughter to go through the course curriculum of CPS in Google and decide.

I cleared my 12th this year. My exam didn't go too will because of health conditions. I gave addmission exam for Newton school of technology and Nxtwave institute of advanced technology. I cleared both but fees of Newton is too high even after scholarship. Therefore i chose NAIT affiliated with Vivekananda Global University in jaipur. Ultimately in CSE filed skills matter more than any degree so is it a right decision? Please reply asap. My family is against sending me to other place to study but I am very much dedicated towards my career so I am fighting for it.
