I am currently in 12th grade Science (Biology) and. I want to change my stream in 12th class Through NIOS Board Is it Possible or not?

Ans: Hi Saurabh,

I wanted to ask why you are considering switching from one stream to another. There are many opportunities available in the science stream. My advice is to reconsider opting for a different stream, as it’s important not to lose the stability that could affect your career later on.

Ans: Hello Amarjeet.
As already you are registered with CBSE school from 11th and now you are in 12th std. You can't appear from NIOS during the same session. Instead of asking about documents, you are suggesteded to visit the nearest NIOS center for more clarity.

I have passed class 12th in 2024. And now i want to do b.tech in NITs so can i take only one subject of maths in NIOS and appear for JEE Mains in 2026? Can NIOS add my old pcb subject marks on the NIOS marksheet after passing and be accepted by JAC DELHI?

Here is the pointwise reply to your question:
(1) No, you can not appear for a single subject in NIOS.
(2) Appear to NIOS as a fresh candidate.
(3) NIOS can not add your old PCB subjects' marks to the NIOS marksheet.
(4) Get a fresh NIOS passing marksheet, which may be accepted by JAC Delhi.

If father sales the plot and gift the money to his son or daughter in law. They purchase the house from that money. Did father has to pay ltcg tax or it will be set off as son or daughter in law has purchased home. Please assist

Ans: We advice that Father Purchases the House in the name of his son. Payment for purchase of house should go directly from father's account. This will ensure that Father gets the benefit u/s 54 for LTCGs.
If father gifts the money to his son or daughter-in-law, the transaction is complete (as Gift made to a relative) & no question of any LTCG benefit.
