Can I Take JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026 If I Passed 12th in 2023-2024?
Ans: Hello Dear.
You mentioned that in 2024, you passed 12th but did not mention about JEE (Mains) score. The Candidate is eligible to appear for JEE (Adv) if and only if he/she qualifies in JEE (Mains). You can appear for JEE (Adv) in 2025 provided you must clear JEE (Mains) 2025 with the required cut-off. I suggest you focus on the 2025 exam and not think about 2026. But you can appear in 2026 also provided you cleared all the norms laid for the IIT institution.

Is it possible for a 30-year-old woman with a B.E. to transition into the IT field after working in a non-IT role due to financial issues?
Ans: Hello dear.
You did not mention in which course you completed your B.E. Yet I assume you might have completed your B.E. either in I.T. or CS or some computer-related engineering. Also it is not clear what is the relation of financial issues related to the working field. You are just 30! There are full possibilities that you can start working in the I.T. field. Only you have to revise what you have learned and what additional knowledge you have. Nothing is impossible in life. I would like to quote here that around 90% aspirants of in engineering do not pursue the field in which they have done engineering. Recently this fact was also for IIT graduates and the results found were surprising. Learn the new era techniques as early as possible. Keep in touch with some I.T. professionals and ask them about the industry requirements. Plan accordingly. It is just a job of 6-8 months to master the basic skills. Apply with full confidence to multiple I.T. companies at a time. Create your strong CV and attractive presence on the LinkedIn website. Remember, nothing is impossible in life. Best of luck for your upcoming future.

I think you are demotivating me that I can't crack JEE advanced. Everyone is not from rich background. I am from poor background. I am from a small village and I couldn't get good facilities still I am preparing for JEE advanced and I have believe on myself that I will crack JEE advanced if IITs will give extra attempt. I think you won't understand my condition. Sorry I asked my query thinking that you will help me or motivate me but you are demotivating me that you should not criticize the decisions taken by authorities. Atleast you should not demotivate me if you don't want to reply my query I have no issues but atleast don't do my morale down.
Ans: Welcome back.
First, you cool down. I have not demotivated you. I just suggested to focus on your studies and try to crack first JEE (Main) and then JEE (Adv). Without any reason, why you are focussing & wasting your precise time on the number of attempts at this stage? For your information, the decisions taken by IIT institutions are not interfered with by the Govt also. This is an independent body. Hence they are supreme in deciding about the number of attempts to be given to the students. But if someone is not satisfied with the decisions, he is free to knock on the doors of Hon Court. Once again, I politely suggest you focus on your upcoming examination only. After the results, decide what options are left for you.

My CSE graduate son faces placement struggles; what can I do?
Ans: Hello Ranjan
Not only JUIT but many more universities and colleges also failed to place the students for a few years as they promised at the time of admission via advertisements. But out of 300, just 20 placed is quite a notable number. You did not mention, where this trend is for this year or if it is happening for a few years! But, now there is no point in keeping names to the placement division of JUIT as you have to focus on the future of your son.
Here are some tips: (1) Ask your son to create a strong C.V. if something is lagging in it from the market condition point of view. (2) Ask him to learn the new techniques in AI + ML as early as possible i.e. Strengthen Technical Skills (3) Create a strong profile on LinkedIn (4) Keep a close eye on the placement offers published in national-level newspapers and employment newspapers. (5) Ask him to keep in touch with his seniors who are working in the companies and if there is any vacancy there (6) Without thinking much more, just apply for the job in the respective companies of his interests where the advertisement Is published or not. (7) Ask him to learn extracurricular activities and try to focus on personality building to get a suitable job without having any irritation in the mind and body language. (8) If possible, try to get the admission to PG. Many colleges offer stipends at the time of PG learning.
Even though there is a recession in the job industry at present, there is no need to worry. This phase is temporary and soon the conditions will be favorable to unemployed youths. Best of luck to your son for his bright future.

Recent BSC graduate in medical: What are my next steps?
Ans: Hello Priyanka.
It is not clear whether either of you has completed your B.Sc. in Medical or not. But I am assuming that you are presently pursuing it. The scope of this branch is wide. Either you can pursue the job, or you can start your own business. However, I would like to suggest that if possible, you do a DMLT course to start an authentic lab. Working as a technician or technical assistant may not boost your career to a great extent, and the salary may also not increase proportionately. Hence, it is better to add a course with a B.Sc. that will help you start your business. With a small capital, you can even start a business selling surgical items, which could turn into a big business in just a few years. Best of luck for your upcoming future.

Confused 18-Year-Old Student: Is CGL the Right Choice for Me?
Ans: Hello Krish.
You are just 18 years old. There is no need to do everything at this stage. You already cleared the 12th Board and appeared for JEE once but scored in the lower percentile. Yet you got admission to DTU. But with a predetermined mind, you think the branch allotted to you is lower. Let me be clear, none of the branches is higher and lower. Every branch has equal opportunities. If you were unsatisfied with the allotted branch, why not opt for your favorite branch from another private college?
Suggestion: First you get admission to any good private college to B.Tech. and complete the engineering with your preferred branch. At least you will have a solid degree in your hand. While studying engineering, you can prepare for CGL, which would be a better option. Even if you fail to crack CGL, you will have B.Tech. degree in your hand. Do engineering and CGL preparation simultaneously. Many students follow this path and have success also.
Best of luck for the upcoming bright future.

Anxiety and Depression at 26: Seeking Career Guidance After Failing UPSC with Math Hons. Degree from DU
Ans: Hello dear.
I am glad to hear that you graduated in Mathematics (Hon) and that too from DU in 2021. Trying and not getting success in competitive exams is a part of life. Very few got success in the exams like UPSE or other parallel exams but the rest of the students do not get depressed. You have wasted your years rather you learned a lot more. Remember a failure person can become a good coach and can give better guidance. There are many examples where failed candidates have started their coaching centers in their respective fields. Even you can also try. You can try your career options, particularly in fields like finance, data analysis, actuarial science, research, and teaching, with roles including Actuary, Statistician, Data Scientist, Financial Analyst, Market Research Analyst, Operations Research Analyst, Mathematician, and Lecturer/Professor at various academic institutions.
But above all, if you are thinking of preparing for CAT, then a year gap is not more, and remember, you have to hit the target/goad up to the age of 28 only! Yet 2 attempts are in your hand! If your financial situation permits you, and you are dam sure about your preparation then you can take the chance else choose other career options as mentioned earlier to you.

BTech First Year - UFM Marked - Future Impact?
Ans: Hello V.
Be relax! There will be no effect of UFM on your career and any type of job. You are not a alone student who has faced UFM charges. This is just a disciplinary action taken by the college committee to maintain the rules and regulations. This is not an offence and there is no police complaint registered with your name. There will no impact on your higher studies either in India or abroad. Keep focussed on your remaining years and try to excel in the examinations and see that you pass B.Tech. with high CGP.
Best of luck for your upcoming bright future.

Telangana SC Caste Certificate Holder in Maharashtra: NEET Counselling Conversion Needed?
Ans: Hello dear.
Your cast certificate from Telangana state will not be accepted in the Maharashtra admission process. For state quota counseling, a domicile in Maharashtra is typically required. Your cast certificate will be valid for 15% of All India quota seats. To use your SC category benefits under AIQ, ensure your caste is listed in the Central Government's SC list. If you have been living in Maharashtra for a substantial period, then try to obtain a fresh domicile and cast certificate from the competent authorities to apply for MBBS in reservation quota.
Steps for NEET Counseling: For All India Quota:
(1) Use your Telangana-issued SC certificate, provided your caste is in the Central List.
(2) No need to convert or domicile in Maharashtra for AIQ.
For Maharashtra State Quota:
(1) Convert your caste certificate as mentioned above and obtain domicile certification if necessary.
(2) Register for Maharashtra state NEET counseling with the converted certificate and domicile proof.
