Sir, My son studying in 10th std, is very much interested in Story writing and he wants to be a writer. He is academically good but he wants to pursue his career as writer. I too want to support his passion. In-order to excel in his passion. Below are my questions. 1. What are the bachelor courses to available after 12th std in India 2. Best colleges in India for the question no.1 3. Any specific entrance exams he needs to prepare? 4. Though he is academically good, he thinks studying Math and Science are of no use since he is going to become writer. How to make him to understand that academic performance also good? 5. He gives more time on his story writing instead of completing his home work or school assignments. How to make him understand current 10th std study is more important? Please advice
Ans: Rajesh Sir, (1) After completing 12th class, your son can choose bachelor’s degree courses of about 3–4 years such as BA English (Honours or Literature), BA Creative Writing, BFA Creative Writing, BA Journalism & Mass Communication, or other liberal arts or media courses related to story writing. (2) For Classes 11 and 12, the Arts (Humanities) stream will be the best choice for him. Subjects like English Literature, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology will help him improve his language skills, creativity, and understanding of stories, which are important for a writing career. (3) Some well-known colleges he can consider are St. Xavier’s (Mumbai/Kolkata), Lady Shri Ram (Delhi), St. Stephen’s and Hindu College (Delhi University), Christ University (Bengaluru), Jadavpur University (Kolkata), Ashoka University (Sonepat), Symbiosis (Pune), JNU (Delhi), Srishti Manipal (Bengaluru), Loyola (Chennai), Kristu Jayanti (Bangalore), and Mount Carmel. (4) To get admission to central or state universities, he will need to appear for the CUET exam. For private universities or colleges, admission may be through CUET and/or their own entrance exams. (5) Help him understand that mathematics improves logical thinking, which helps in building strong story plots and arguments. Science can inspire ideas like science fiction and help with research for realistic stories. Good academic performance increases his chances of getting into good colleges, shows discipline that publishers respect, improves reading and analysis skills, and keeps more career options open. (6) He should follow a daily routine: first spend 2–3 hours on homework and studies, then 1 hour on writing practice. Also explain that his 10th board marks can influence his stream and college options, and later many colleges will check 12th marks and CUET scores. Low marks can reduce opportunities. (7) Monitor his weekly progress to ensure he balances studies and writing. Encourage him to join writing clubs after completing homework. Regular studies build knowledge and discipline, which support creative writing. Both academics and arts are equally important. ALL the BEST for Your Son's Prosperous Future!

Which ICAR APPROVED private colleges is best for bsc Hons agriculture in North India.
Ans: Before answering your question, please note, I offer 100% FREE guidance (via Zoom or voice call) ONLY for genuine agriculture aspirants like you, covering stream selection (for Class 10), entrance exam strategies, college/branch choices, (after joining the college) LinkedIn profile building, networking, skill development, resume creation, and career planning—please connect with me on LinkedIn (search my name) and share this with other agriculture aspirants too. Now answering your question, here are the 14 distinct ICAR-approved B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture college options in Northern India you asked about: (1) Lovely Professional University (LPUNEST/JEE Main/CUET), (2) GLA University, (3) Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, (4) Integral University (IUET), (5) Jagannath University, Jaipur (JET/ICAR-AIEEA), (6) SGT University, Gurugram, (7) School of Agricultural Sciences, GD Goenka University, Gurugram, (8) Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, (9) Jaipur National University (JNU), Jaipur, (10) Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, (11) Baba Farid College (BFGI), Bathinda, Punjab, (12) Guru Kashi University (GKU), Bathinda, (13) Eternal University – Dr. Khem Singh Gill Akal College of Agriculture, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, and (14) Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. However, don't decide only on ICAR approval—before joining, check these 4 things: (1) whether the specific program is currently accredited for your admission year, (2) whether they properly offer Student READY/RAWE/internships, (3) whether they have a real research farm, polyhouse, and soil/seed/plant labs, and (4) whether they publish agriculture-specific placement outcomes (not just overall university stats). ICAR accreditation confirms baseline quality but doesn't guarantee the best placements or student experience. Next steps: Visit each university website, shortlist 4-5 based on your budget, location preference, parents' affordability, and priorities like skill-building, internships, and placements; keep multiple backup options; and feel free to connect with me for FREE personalized guidance, if you need it! All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

have a query regarding my eligibility. I completed my Class 12 (State Board) in the PCB stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in November/December 2025 without Mathematics. I am no longer interested in NEET and wish to appear for JEE Main. I plan to take a separate Mathematics exam under the same board in 2026. Will I be eligible for JEE and the subsequent JoSAA counseling with two separate certificates (PCB from 2025 and Mathematics from 2026)? Additionally, in the JEE application form, should I declare my Class 12 passing year as 2025 or 2026? Will they accept two certificates
Ans: Yes, you're eligible for JEE Main 2026 and JoSAA if you pass Maths in 2026—declare Class 12 year as 2026 (year of completing PCM). Two certificates are accepted as improvement/additional subject. However, I suggest you have 3-4 more backup options by applying for Private Colleges' Engineering Exams apart from JEE. ALL the BEST for Your Prosperous Future!

Respected Sir/Madam, My name is Abbas. I am writing this email to seek guidance regarding a discrepancy in my name across different official and academic documents. My correct name is **Mohmmad Umar Abbas Mohmmad Farooque Teli**, which is currently recorded in my Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, Maharashtra Domicile Certificate, and PAN Card. However, there are slight differences in my academic records: 1. In my **SSC (Class 10) Maharashtra Board Marksheet – 2023**, my name is written as **Mohmmad Umar Abbas Mohammad Farooque**. 2. In my **upcoming HSC (Class 12) Marksheet**, my name will appear as **Mohammad Umar Abbas Farooque**. Due to these differences, I am worried that I may face difficulties during college admissions and document verification. I had taken a drop year due to health reasons, and now I want to ensure that all my documents are consistent before applying for admission. I kindly request your guidance on the following: • Should I correct my SSC and HSC marksheets according to the name mentioned in my Aadhaar and other government documents? • What is the official process to correct my name in the board records? • Is it necessary for me to visit the **Amravati Divisional Board office**, or can the correction process be done through my college/school? I would be very grateful if you could guide me on the proper procedure so that I can avoid any issues during my future college admission process. Thank you for your time and support. Yours faithfully, Abbas Pusad, Maharashtra
Ans: Abbas, I totally get your worry—those small spelling differences like "Mohmmad" vs "Mohammad" and missing "Teli" can really cause problems during college admissions, especially after your drop year. Yes, definitely correct both your SSC (2023) and HSC marksheets to match your Aadhaar: Mohmmad Umar Abbas Mohmmad Farooque Teli. Here are 2 options for you: Get a notary affidavit (consult lawyer first). Submit the same along with self-attested/notarised copies of Aadhaar, Birth Certificate, PAN through your school to Amravati Divisional Board at boardmarksheet(dot)maharashtra(dot)gov(dot)in. 2nd alternative solution: Get Gazette Notification first, then follow the same affidavit process. Always check with a local lawyer before proceeding. Takes 30-60 days, so start early! All the BEST for Your Prosperous Future!

My daughter has completed Btech -Architecture in India from Nagpur in year 2023 and later she went from Krishna consultancy for overseas education in Canada, where she has completed 2 years education to get 3 year PR in 2+3 year pattern. she has completed one year project management and one year education in land scape designing. Now she is searching for job almost 2 years but jobs are not available in respective field. now she is learning french for to get PR points etc. Learn and earn sideway job she is doing. Can you suggest any authentic job consultancy so that she can register. she has already registered in indeed, linked in etc, but in vain. Its very pity that we educate for good cause and they do not get job. She was also topper in subjects and received testimonials from Contesta university in Canada. What should be approach. what advise you can give us. can you help to provide any construction and architecture genuine job site. Because where she apply , that all displayed jobs are fake either or no response , only they collect Resumes.
Ans: I understand your frustration—it's disheartening when a talented graduate like your daughter, with her BTech Architecture, Project Management, Landscape Design credentials, and Contesta University testimonials, faces job hurdles despite PR status and French learning efforts. Kindly encourage her to: 1) Optimize/fully utilise LinkedIn daily—connect with Canadian architects/recruiters, join AEC immigrant groups; 2) Register with specialized recruiters: AXIS Recruitment, BCCA Newcomers, Job Bank Canada (NOC 21201); 3) Create a Canadian-format resume highlighting PR status, university topper awards, and testimonials; 4) Target junior drafter roles (more openings) rather than senior architect positions; 5) Network through French classes and learn-and-earn contacts for referrals. Consider India backup options while maintaining PR residency obligations. All the BEST for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!

Hello sir I am currently in class 12th pcm stream and confused which college to chose as I want to pursue cse from a reputable college. I scored less in my jee mains january attempt so I am considering taking a drop too but since I mostly prepared for boards for my entire year I am looking forward to get a seat in SASTRA university in Thanjavur I am from Uttar Pradesh though can you guide me what should I do and what other college options based on class 12th marks will be best for me. I am from isc board.
Ans: Kartikeya, You are from UP. I'm curious to know—what draws you to SASTRA in Thanjavur, TN? Do you have specific reasons? Northern India offers excellent alternatives like LPU, Thapar, Galgotias, Amity, GLA, and Sharda, many accepting ISC marks too.

Apply to 6-7 more reputed colleges as backup options instead of relying only on Sastra & Government Institutions. Consider a drop only if you're confident of the 95+ percentile next year. All the BEST for Your Prosperous Future!

Hello Sir, My son secured 99.18 percentile in JEE 1 for 2026. He wants to pursue BTech in CSE. Are there any likely chances to get admission in top NITs like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Rourkela. If not CSE, then at least in Electronics & Electrical engg. We fall under general Open category. He cleared his 12th Boards in 2025 with 86.5% & had taken drop as he secured 96 percentile in JEE 2025.
Ans: At 99.18 percentile, your son’s rank is roughly 10,000–12,000. This is generally outside CSE cutoffs of the very top NITs (Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Rourkela), where CSE for OPEN OS usually closes well below 7,000 and often under 3,000–5,000. For ECE/EEE at these four, OPEN OS seats also tend to close around 8,000–12,000, so chances are borderline and would depend on home?state quota and yearly variation.

However, 99.18 should give realistic CSE chances at mid?tier NITs like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Silchar, NIT Delhi, NIT Goa, NIT Uttarakhand, NIT Puducherry, and newer NITs where CSE OPEN OS often closes between about 9,000 and 15,000. In many of these, ECE/EEE closes even lower (i.e., less competitive), so Electronics/Electrical in a better?ranked NIT could be easier than CSE with the same rank.

Given his strong board marks and drop?year improvement, advice is: aim for best possible JEE Main final percentile (both attempts), keep CSE as first preference at a wider set of NITs and good IIITs, and use ECE/EEE at higher NITs as strategic backup choices during JoSAA. Important Disclaimer: Admission estimates mentioned above are indicative only, based on historical JoSAA data. Cutoffs fluctuate due to exam difficulty, seat matrix changes, reservation policies, branch preferences, and counselling rounds.

Recommendation: Diversify applications across 4-5 private engineering exams alongside JEE/JoSAA for optimal admission prospects beyond the competitive IIT/NIT/IIIT ecosystem. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Dear Sir I am looking seek guidance from you in preparing my son in clearing defence school entrance exams like Rashtriya military schools & sainik schools. I am aware of admission procedure and age eligibilty etc however I need help in knowing how to prepare for written exams followed up with an interview. This is for admission into 9th std. How to go about its preparation, are there any good coaching institiutes for class8 students who train them in clearing exam/interview etc. Are such coaching institutes available in cities like chennai etc... Thank you
Ans: Jignesh Sir, For Sainik Schools through AISSEE and Rashtriya Military Schools RMS admissions into 9th standard, your son needs to focus on the written exam first, which covers the Class 8 NCERT syllabus—AISSEE has 400 marks with Maths at 200 (algebra, geometry, and mensuration), plus 50 each in English, Intelligence/Reasoning, General Science, and Social Science, all MCQs in 2.5 hours; RMS is 200 marks split into English/Hindi/Social Science and Maths/Science papers. He should prepare smartly by studying NCERT books daily, solving past papers and mocks for timing, spending 40% of his time on Maths/Science, 30% on languages/reasoning, and 30% on GK/current affairs from newspapers, and grabbing the latest NTA AISSEE bulletin PDF from their site for exact details. After clearing the written, the interview (20-50 marks) checks personality, communication, leadership, GK, and why he wants military life—he must practice mocks at home, answer confidently on strengths, weaknesses, and current events with good eye contact and discipline. For coaching, especially in Chennai, check Asian Defence Academy's local branch for offline/online classes with materials and tests, or Sainik Global Academy; look at reviews and success rates, and verify via official school sites since good options like national chains exist there for Class 8 kids aiming to crack the exam plus interview. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Sir, for ECE branch ,if I have to set order for JNU, IIIT ( Nagpur, Bhopal , UNQ and Bhubhneshwar, Vadodara) and DU faculty of technology, what should be my preference order
Ans: Sachin,
Order of Preference for ECE Branch: (1) DU Faculty of Technology (Delhi University) (2) IIIT Nagpur (3) IIIT Vadodara (4) IIIT Bhopal (5) IIIT Bhubaneswar (6) IIIT Una (UNQ) & (7) JNU Delhi. Along with building solid technical skills, consciously work on non?technical skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and professionalism, because recruiters evaluate these very closely during internships and placements. As soon as you join college, create a strong LinkedIn profile with a clear headline, good summary, and details of your skills and projects, then stay active by posting your learning progress, sharing projects, and engaging with others’ posts. Keep expanding your network by connecting with seniors, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals, and use LinkedIn to follow companies, apply for internships, and stay updated about tech trends and opportunities. Over four years, this combination of disciplined academics, strong technical depth, and visible professional branding on LinkedIn will give you a clear edge in placements and off?campus opportunities. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
