Hello sir! My son's rank in JEE MAINS is 34456 with 97.8 percentile and Advanced rank is 20000, this year (2026). He applied for JAC DELHI (Delhi quota gender neutral)as well as josaa counselling. He is only interested in either ECE branch or VLSI so filled only these. He has already been allotted seat in IIIT Delhi in VLSI branch and we have booked a seat but he has floated the option because DTU is his preferred college. Kindly suggest all the good options. He has not opted for any IIT in josaa. I am worried for him and confused about making a right choice. Should we go for NIT if he gets one in josaa or opt for DTU(if allocated). Please suggest, he wants to enjoy college life along with studies for holistic development, which is not possible at IIITD but then the career and placement is equally important......ufff I am confused with his thought process.
