Dear Sir. My Son has got offer from IT Branch in K J Somaiya Vidya Vihar. Additionally he has got offer from NMIMS. His Rank is 1529 in NPAT exam. We are targeting CE in NMIMS Ville parle but it seems difficult at his rank. What other options we should choose in NMIMS Villeparle like IT, CSE(Data Science), CSE (Cybersecurity) etc. His MH CET score is 90.62 percentile. Kindly suggest.

Instead of Ville Parle, consider Navi Mumbai; the chances for all the programs there are excellent. It is difficult to secure Computer Science (CSE) and CSE-related programs through MHCET counseling.
In Somaiya, he is only getting Information Technology (IT). If he is interested in CSE or related courses, he should choose NMIMS.
Now you need to make a decision and proceed.
