Ans: Yasi, Since you’ll need a 60–70% education loan, taking on Rs.24 lakh debt for a new campus like MIT Bengaluru or an expensive seat at VIT Chennai is very risky and could leave you with too much debt compared to your income right after graduation. The best approach is to avoid both costly private colleges and lower-tier GFTIs with poor infrastructure, focusing instead on affordable options in major tech cities that offer good value. The recommended order is MAIT Delhi or MSIT Delhi (CSE/IT through IP University) first, then NIT Meghalaya (Mechanical), followed by Assam University Silchar or NIT Sikkim (Mechanical), then VIT Chennai (CSE, Category 5) or MIT Bengaluru (CSE), and finally Mizoram University, CSVTU, IIIT Manipur, and BIT Deoghar. Prioritize MAIT or MSIT Delhi for CSE/IT since they provide a strong computer science degree in a top city with manageable loans and lower financial risk. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!
