Sir l have got 54 percentile in JEE mains 735409 rank , 72 percent in boards and vit rank 101100 but vit is very expensive and I have iat exam on 7 june so l am preparing for that , if l couldn't get into iiser then how can l develop my career in software, l am from Bhopal, madhya pradesh
Ans: Anwesha, you can definitely try appearing for the IAT exam, but keep in mind it’s quite competitive. If you’re really interested in research, it’s worth considering.
Also, based on your academic performance, I’d suggest trying a psychometric test if possible. It can give you a better idea of other career options besides engineering. After seeing the test results, you can decide which UG program would suit you best.
As a backup, consider applying to 2-3 good colleges in MP for courses like BCA, MCA, or other CSE and related 3-4 year programs, instead of relying on JoSAA/CSAB/VIT/IAT-IISER. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!
