sir my son got 92.16 percentile, which branch he would get in Tier 2 NIT, we belongs to OBC NCL Catagory

Based on your percentile, the following courses are available at TIET2: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining, and Biotech. However, these options are only available during the CSAB rounds and not through JoSAA.
Since you did not provide your domicile, if your domicile is in Northeast India, you may have better options for more desirable branches.
I suggest considering Mechanical Engineering, as this will allow for online course options related to Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), which can enhance employability in the job market.
It's also worth noting that nowadays, engineering graduates are eligible to work in the pharmaceutical sector, presenting a new job opportunity. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with choosing Mechanical Engineering.
