Hello sir ,
I am 19 yrs old . I scored 75% overall in 12th and Got 39 percentile in JEE DROP Year . I know i did mistake and there were reasons. I have to graduate within 3 years to apply for CDS . So, i am planning to do a online degree to like BA. I am not able to find a decent Btech collage . My prioritise are Sports facilites and semister exchnage facilities and moderate Package collage will work too. My budget is only 16-18 lakh. Help me people. I tried bennet and other but fee issue.
Should i consider a 2nd drop year ?
Ans: If graduating within 3 years is critical and you want to keep CDS eligibility, pursuing a regular engineering degree through sports quota in reputed private colleges like KCG, SRM, or Jeppiaar is advisable. These colleges offer good sports infrastructure and reasonable fees, often within ?16-18 lakh total.
Online BA or BSc degrees are flexible but may not align well with your career goals if you want engineering or technical roles.
A second drop year is an option only if you are confident about improving your JEE rank and can handle the pressure. It may open doors to better NITs or IITs but delays graduation.
Prioritize colleges with strong sports culture and scholarships to maximize both academics and sports. Contact colleges directly about sports quota admissions and fee waivers. All the best for your admission and a bright future!
