Sir, my daughter is in PU2- karnataka ( 2025-26). She is Gen PWD. When coming to selecting the engg. branch she has confusing between CSE and EC. The confusing is due to Job loss due to AI.
Could you suggest the branch she should put in 1st preference?

Ans: Madhusudanan Sir, Let her interests and strengths guide the decision, but from a job security and future opportunities perspective, CSE should be the first preference for most students in 2025–26, especially considering the current trends in campus placements and industry demand. Additionally, ensure that she takes a minimum of 8-10 entrance examinations, including KCET and COMEDK, in order to have the greatest number of backups and to select the most appropriate option for her.
