my son got 98.57 percentile in jee main with crl rank 21902 , he is getting NIT civil, mechanical and chemical from Nagpur according to last yr cut off , and EEE in NIT goa in 4 th and 5 th round, we are confused which branch should we take as he is getting ECE fron sardar patel engineering college which is private college in Mumbai, should we prefer branch or NIT college
Ans: If brand value, placements, and long-term career prospects are your priority, choose NIT Nagpur in Mechanical or Civil or Chemical. These branches have strong industry demand and stable placement records.
If your son is passionate about EEE and willing to take a chance on a newer NIT with growing opportunities, NIT Goa is an option but less preferred compared to Nagpur NIT.
If your son prioritizes ECE branch and Mumbai location for urban exposure, internships, and networking, and are comfortable with higher fees, SPCE Mumbai ECE is a solid choice. All the best for your Son's admissions!
