Hi sir/madam
My name Raghav and my age is 34, i completed my 12th in 2009 with maths, physics, chemistry, computer science, but now i want to study medical now, so to take neet exam which subjects and what exam i want to take to qualify for neet entrance exam in india
Ans: Raghav, since you completed 12th in 2009 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science (but not Biology), you're currently not eligible for NEET. To become eligible, you must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, and scored at least 50% in PCB (for General category).
You have two main options:
Reappear for 12th with Biology via NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or a recognized open board. Choose PCB + English subjects and complete the exams in about a year.
Take Biology as an additional subject through a recognized board. NEET now accepts Biology as an additional subject if done from a valid board.
Once you fulfill the PCB criteria from a recognized board, you'll be eligible to appear for NEET 2026.
NIOS is a practical option for working professionals. Approach Recognized / Reputed Private Tutorials which will help you further in this regard. All the best!
