• RVCE, MSRIT, and BMSCE are top, well-established colleges in Bangalore with strong alumni networks, placement records, and brand value. Even if you take Chemical Engineering, you’ll get good peer group, campus life, and support for competitive exams or MBA prep. These colleges are also known to have many students preparing for CAT, UPSC, and defence exams, so you'll find the right atmosphere.
• Shiv Nadar University is modern, has good infrastructure and is growing fast, but still building its name. It's great for research and has a more liberal, flexible curriculum. However, it's not yet as well-recognized in terms of legacy and competitive exam environment.
If you're clear that you want a strong college name and environment to prepare for MBA, UPSC, or defence, then RVCE or BMSCE would be better. Don’t worry too much about Chemical Engineering as the branch—you can always shift focus later.
