good morning madam,
i am 62 years, my HbA1c is 6.2, fasting 112, pp 160 to 200 . taking istavel-D after breakfast. my problem is after 11-30 am to till i finish lunch, my hypoglycemia levels are very low and i am becoming weak and giddiness, fatigue, eye blurring. Whether I am wrongly using sugar tablet with high dose. what shall I take for my problem.
Ans: Reactive hypoglycemia occurs after meals, typically 2 to 5 hours later. It’s different from fasting hypoglycemia, which happens when you haven’t eaten for an extended period. It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional/doctor to discuss your specific situation and get personalized advice. It may require modifications of your medicine dosage. In the meanwhile, make sure to eat some carbohydrate foods 2 hours after breakfast to avoid blood sugar drops.
