My Daughter delivered twin girls in March 2022. One baby was normal at birth. The other baby at birth was underweight and had cleft lip and cleft palate. This child underwent surgery for Cleft lip in June 2022 and for Cleft palate in Dec 2022. As of now (Aug 2023) parameters in respect of Height, weight, and physical growth are all normal. While the child that was normal at birth has started to walk and is able to utter few words, this child stands up on her own holding a support and walks few steps with support. The child is not able to walk on her own without support. Likewise, she screams, makes noise but is not able to utter words. Her timings for Sleep, food, activity are all normal and response level is satisfactory. When will she start to walk on her own and begin to utter words? Any special exercise to be given as support? Pl advice

dear madam my daughter is 1 year old now , weight is just 6.9kgs female she was born c section begining of 9 months as wife has some acid influx // weighting that time was 2.7 kgs since last 5 months she has just gained 500 gms weight though she is very active crawls // communicate // teeth are also coming but she is very thin and less weight when contact doctor says give good diet etc but she eats very less just throw out of mouth .. we try to give 8-10 time different things home made does not eat more relied on mother milk suggest way to increase weight rgds

My son is 2 years 2 months old. He weighs about 11 kg now and is pretty active. We are worried about his speech delay. He is not saying any words. He is only blabbering and trying to make sounds like 'appa' 'oooo' 'abba' and 'mamama'. He screams and says nothing else. We have shown him to a peadtrician, ENT and psychiatrist. They say it's normal. We have also done BERA test and result were normal. Doctors have advised us to reduce screen time for the baby and train him at home. As prescribed by doctors we are giving him omega 3 syrup and Iron supplements. Is there anything we are missing out on? Should we be worried? Is there any other specialist that we should consult. Kindly guide us.

Dear madam, my daughter is 1.5 years old, weight 9.3kg. Weight at the time of birth was 3.2kg. She is not on mother's feed. She does not find home food attractive and it takes a lot of effort for us to make her eat one meal in a day. We are trying everything possible. She hasn't started walking yet, only crawling. To make matters worse, every time I search online about ‘speech delays,’ I end up reading about all these developmental disorders, and honestly, it’s starting to keep me up at night. Doctor, I really need your guidance. Is this delay within the range of normal for her age, or is it something we need to address with a speech therapist or specialist? Are there any specific activities or exercises I should be doing at home to help her?
