My son has got NIT Surathkal EEE in Round 3 n would certainly get RV CE Comp.Sc via ComedK round 1 and maybe even via CET . Is NIT Surathkal EEE better than RVCE CS in terms of college value,placements and NIT exposure in terms of peer community,alumni networks pls share your views sir

Ans: Please ask your son, he is more interested in Computer or Electrical / Electronics? If he says computer & if you can afford for the fees, go for RVCE. Else, prefer NIT-S-EEE. Peer Community / Alumni Networks applicable even to RVCE (might be slightly lesser). All the BEST for Your Bright Future.

Thanks for your reply Sir.Appreciate your time.My son is interested in Computers although he is unable to distinguish the advantages of core CS or EEE.He is also planning to do BS in Data Science from IIT Madras alongwith the regular BE . Is it fine to do NIT Surathkal EEE and also BS in Data Science from IIT M,the correspondence course.kindly advise

Ans: if this portfolio is 10% of your NetWorth and you want to hand it over to your next generation then only I will suggest to hold these companies. as its well diversified. If its not then please keep only 10% and exit from the above allocation and add in a balanced fund where debt allocation is more. At this edge capital preservation is the key.

Hello Sir, As of now I have got Information Science and Engineering in RVCollege Bangalore, CSE core in SRM Katakalathoor, still waiting for KEAM rank list . Which among the above two choices will be good? Is there a lot of difference in Information Science and CSE?
