Hi sir. I’m a final year pg. I’m not very confident with making diagnosis of slides.If i see a slide which probably i dont know,i get very nervous and lose confidence. How to tackle this sir?

Ans: Learning is an ongoing process, and it gets better with practice, observation, and experience. Having absolute theoretical clarity on the indications of different slides can go a long way in making a more confident slide diagnosis. The best step to do it is to chart out specific indications of different types of slides with the help of seniors and colleagues. Memorise and revisit them periodically so that at the next slide diagnosis exam you are more confident. Be patient and master the art of slide diagnosis slowly and steadily.

Dear sir, I hv done Masters in Microbiology. Then, I started my career as Biology Lecturer. After teaching academics for past 5 years now I want to enter the competitive field (NEET) of teaching. Before that I want to prepare myself. How should i prepare for it ? What are the best sources ? etc etc Thanks ...

Ans: If you have already cleared NEET and plan to start preparing for teaching, I will recommend that you start with solving multiple choice questions on Microbiology which were asked in previous year questions (PYQs) as it is recommended to solve around 100 MCQs every day. This will help you gain confidence and achieve a deeper understanding of the type of questions. For a thorough preparation of teaching, watch videos of NEET PG faculties to understand methods and syllabus. Once prepared, start posting videos on YouTube and take it from there. Ans: Solving previous year's NEET PG questions are critical to cracking the exam. Candidates can refer to ‘NEET/NEXT Essence’, a question bank that contains previous years' questions, the new patterns of questions, image based questions and recent advances. It is available at most medical bookstores and can also be bought online.
