My daughter-in-law had completed her MD(Respiratory Medicine) course successfully from a Gov. Medcal College( selected through al India NEET PG ranking),in November 2025 from Dr. MGR medical University, Tamilnadu. There is a bond period of 2 years attached to the course. She is undergoing the course, taking leave from Kerala Health services ( since she had been appointed as Asst. Surgeon, on the basis of her MBBS degree). Can she complete her Senior Residency by joining her duty at Kerala State ? It is said that the bond is not insisted in certain years due to no vaccancy in Tamilnafu Govt. Health services is it true ? By filing a petition in court to permit to join kerla govt. health services , can i get a favorable order(is there any such order already issued from court?)
Ans: Dear Sir,
Without reviewing the document, I cannot provide a generalized statement. However, my concern is that this issue was known prior to joining the course and accepting the bond. Refusing the terms or requesting a transfer to another state is not appropriate. As educated individuals, we should strive to set a positive example for others.

According to the norms, once a candidate accepts the bond agreement, they are obligated to fulfill the terms with the sponsoring institution.

Additionally, the Kerala government is aware that the candidate must enter into a bond agreement, so there is no need to worry about the Senior Residency in Tamil Nadu. Furthermore, this is a nationwide centralized process, and I believe she must follow the bond agreement accordingly.

It may be possible to complete this obligation in their home state of Kerala or in another state like Tamil Nadu, provided that the respective government or institution accepts the transfer of the bond service.

Meri jet ki counselling ka 1 round me register nhi kar paya hu To ab muje aage kya karna chayea
Ans: VHi Kuldeep,

I believe you have several other options to consider, which may be why you seem hesitant. Regarding your query, there is a 99.99% chance that securing a seat is not possible. However, there is a very slim possibility; if seats remain vacant after the third counseling session, you may be able to register using the online option form (please refer to point 13 of the JET Guidelines).

13.0 OPTION FORM FOR FINAL ONLINE COUNSELLING
If seats remain vacant after the third counselling, the same will be filled through this option form.

Online option forms will be invited as per the schedule.
Candidates who did not fill option form previously or did not get admission or did not report, are eligible for this final online option form. The Candidates reported in any institution will not be eligible for filling the option form for final online counselling.

Online option form for spot counselling may be filled out after paying Rs. 5000/- + the bank charges (if any).
Candidates who filled first option form and do not get seat need not to deposit Rs. 5000/- again but have to fill the option form again.
Candidates are advised to visit the website for changes in dates, system, or any other information from time to time. The office of the JET Coordinator will not be responsible for not reaching the any changes to the candidate in time.
Candidate has to report in the college on given date. The admission process will be closed with this process even seat remains vacant.

For more information, please visit the website to help you reach your goal.

Is it worthwhile being an mbbs only doctor in India or is pg necessary as somebody who cannot toil 24-36 hours (as is the case with hospital duties) and is not well adequate for working under somebody and then do you still have to study after mbbs to level up or will you be contented with just mbbs. Pls don't answer objectively i really need to see the real picture
Ans: Hi Dr.
Recently, I've seen many different comments on social media suggesting that finding a job after completing an MBBS is very difficult, with some graduates even working as delivery boys.

I believe MBBS is one of the few courses that allows for immediate entrepreneurship after graduation, while other fields often require additional support to start a business. Many medical shop owners are willing to provide a small space for consultations, which is not typically an option for graduates in other disciplines.

If you are financially constrained, it may be wise to stop after completing your MBBS degree for the time being. However, pursuing a postgraduate degree (PG) significantly increases your opportunities, including potential roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Without a PG, your options may be limited. It's akin to the difference between a normal grocery store and a supermarket: completing a PG can lead to positions in corporate medical hospitals.

Initially, you might consider working at a smaller practice or in the government sector before pursuing higher education. While having an MBBS degree allows you to offer consultations, having a PG provides you with more credibility and knowledge. Understand your strengths and weaknesses, and don’t worry about others—proceed based on your own abilities and circumstances.

Sir do re enrolled students, those who passed 12th passing the 50 percent aggregate but still admitted to a new school, under maharastra state board, to score 60 percent or more, considering the ambiguity of aiims admission, face any difficulties during admission process after neet, during counselling, is the re enrolled year result just as valid as before? Also the gap between giving 12th for the first time and re enrolling as a 12th std student again in a new school is around 2 years, so a gap certificate is required? Or new school cancels that out?
Ans: Hi,
Who is guiding you?
It seems that someone may be leading you astray.

In today's world, everything is online specially in india. Once you complete your course, all your credentials will be uploaded to a digital platform, meaning your details cannot be hidden. Therefore, it is essential to be honest in all your educational activities, as these will support you throughout your life.

To secure at least 60% in your HSC, you might feel tempted to pursue unfavorable shortcuts. However, whether you choose to retake specific subjects or take a different approach, you will still be recognized as a second-time candidate. Instead of opting for shortcuts, consider ethically completing your 12th grade with core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology through NIOS. Your marks can be used for eligibility purposes. Engaging in unethical practices could lead to problems in the future, so it's important to proceed with caution.

Additionally, rather than repeating two years, focus on NEET coaching to help you secure an MBBS seat in AIIMS, which is your dream. It's worth noting that, except for AFMC Pune, all other institutions accept candidates who have attempted the exam more than once for eligibility.

Sir, I am from Tripura. I made my state OBC in 4/2024 and central OBC in 6/2024 and with the central OBC I made my OBC ncl in 4/2025 as per the format given by jee adv this year but I can't see anything like catagory certificate number or ID in my NCL. Yes there's a catagory no in central OBC certificate starting with OBCS/XXXX/XXXXX and my central OBC no OBCC/XXXX/XXXXX but there nothing like that in my NCL there something a 4 digit number only written in my NCL under which the date of issuing is written. Now NTA wants OBC ncl number with also after 1/4/2025 what number should I fill? Can you help me by collecting the proper and exact information regarding it , I would be very grateful to you.
Ans: Hi,
Yes, an OBC NCL certificate has a unique ID number, often referred to as the certificate number or serial number.

Where to Find the Number
The format and exact location of this number can vary by state and issuing authority, but it is usually printed prominently on the

Common Locations:
You can typically find the number in the bottom left corner or the top left/right corner of the certificate.

Format:
The number is usually an alphanumeric string that ranges from 8 to 12 characters long, sometimes including letters and other symbols, such as ABC/XYZ/OBC/M-7298/20XX.

Alternative Name:
It may also be referred to as the "Acknowledgement Number" or "Rev. Case Number."

Central vs. State List Entry Number
When completing application forms for admissions or jobs (such as JEE, NEET, etc.), you might be required to provide two different numbers:
1. The certificate number (the unique ID on your specific document).
2. The Entry Number or Serial Number of your caste in the Central List of OBCs.

If you still have doubts, feel free to approach the appropriate officer nearby for assistance.

Can I pursue Canada MCCQE or FRCpath after DNB patho pr is it it strictly for MD patho?
Ans: HI

Both DNB and MD Pathology graduates from India are eligible to pursue the FRCPath (UK) and the MCCQE (Canada), provided they meet the specific requirements set by the respective governing bodies.

The degrees are considered equivalent for the purpose of taking these international exams and for postgraduate training/fellowships abroad.

FRCPath (UK)
Eligibility: Both MD and DNB graduates with an MBBS degree from an MCI/NMC recognized institution are eligible to apply for the FRCPath examinations (Part 1 and Part 2).

Process:
Candidates must have a valid medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
They must also be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practice from, the General Medical Council (GMC).

Passing the FRCPath exams is a pathway to becoming a consultant in the UK, often through the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) route for overseas doctors.

Part 1 exams can often be taken online or at home,
while Part 2 exams typically require travel to the UK or a few specific overseas centers.

MCCQE (Canada)
Eligibility: The primary requirement for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I is to be a graduate from a medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) with a "Canada Sponsor Note". Both MD and DNB holders will have an underlying MBBS degree from such an institution.

Process:
Candidates must register on the PhysiciansApply.ca portal and have their credentials verified.
Passing the MCCQE Part I and the NAC Examination are essential steps for international medical graduates (IMGs) looking to enter a residency program in Canada through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS).

The DNB/MD pathology qualification itself does not directly grant a license to practice as a specialist in Canada. One must first secure a residency position in a pathology program, which is very competitive, or pursue a Practice-Ready Assessment (PRA) program where available.

Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is often required for entry into Canadian residency programs.

The specific Indian qualification (MD or DNB) does not create a difference in eligibility for these international pathways; both are recognized as valid PG patho qualifications.

The main hurdles are meeting the specific exam, registration, and immigration requirements of the destination country.

It is up to you to decide, based on the current political situation, the expenditure incurred, and job opportunities in the respective country, if you do not prefer to come back to India.

Can anybody solve my query about neet ai councelling seat allotment criteria. I am not getting the same nursing college which the other one has got in all india neet ug councelling even though we have same obc category and this college was my first priority also in all . It is happening in all rounds with me . I can't understand it please help me.
Ans: Hi Riya,
Yes, you may not secure a seat.
Several factors influence the counseling process, and these are well-known.
The following factors are involved:
1. Marks scored in NEET
2. Rank
3. Category
4. Domicile
5. All India quota or state quota
6. Institution (Government or Private)
7. Number of quota seats available in each institution
8. Sometimes, gender MAY ALSO BE a consideration. (GUESS)

Even if factors 1-4 match with those of your friend or another candidate, the deciding factors often start from 5-8.

Even if two candidates have the same overall marks, the National Testing Agency (NTA) uses a multi-layered tie-breaking policy to assign them unique ranks. This ensures a distinct merit order for seat allocation. The current criteria are applied sequentially:
-Higher Marks in Biology: The candidate with higher marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) is ranked higher.
-Higher Marks in Chemistry: If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry is preferred.
-Higher Marks in Physics: If still tied, the candidate with higher marks in Physics gets the better rank.
-Lower Proportion of Incorrect Answers (Overall): The candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect answers to correct answers across all subjects is ranked higher.
-Lower Proportion of Incorrect Answers in Biology: If the tie remains, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers in Biology is preferred.
-Lower Proportion of Incorrect Answers in Chemistry: The process continues with fewer incorrect answers in Chemistry.
-Lower Proportion of Incorrect Answers in Physics: Finally, fewer incorrect answers in Physics are considered.
-Random Selection: If the tie still remains after all the above criteria, a random selection process is conducted under the supervision of an independent expert committee.

It’s like being at a feast; when your turn comes, the particular food you wanted may be gone. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself. What’s more important is whether you can secure a seat in a good institution or not.

If aktu alloted me a preern enrollment number does my admission is confirmed or not?I am not the only one who got preern there is almost 47 students who got preern
Ans: HI,
No, your admission is not confirmed;
It is a preliminary number issued before final admission. You are simply applying for admission to the respective universities. This number is generated for their convenience to help organize and simplify the application process.

In detail:
In an educational context, many universities and colleges use a pre-enrollment or pre-registration number to manage student applications prior to formal admission. This number is typically assigned to applicants after they submit their online application forms.

Please note that the pre-enrollment number is temporary and distinct from the permanent enrollment, registration, or roll number, which is issued once admission is finalized.

Aktu has already allotted me an enrollment number but preern hai usme Mai confused hu bcoz as I told you earlier sir I have dual Marksheet case in 12th (icse+nios) so all I want to know is my case is accepted in aktu or not
Ans: Hi,

Please review all your questions before responding to me.

In your initial inquiry, you only mentioned "preern." In question No. 1, you asked about the preern number, and I want to clarify that 47 students received the same number.

In your subsequent query, you asked about the time duration for preregistration.

In your third message, you mentioned that you are pursuing your B.Tech.

Now, you are bringing up the topic of the dual mark sheet.

There doesn’t seem to be a connection between your questions. The university has provided comprehensive details about the admission and counseling process on its website for each program.

Therefore, please share your query with all the necessary details in Hindi, and I will translate it for you. Don't worry.

I need the following information from you:
- When did you complete your HSC?
- Why did you choose NIOS?
- Did you appear for CUET or JEE?
- What is your rank in CUET or JEE?
- Did you participate in the counseling for JEE? If so, what happened?
- Why are you applying for state-level admission?
- What are your category details?
- What are the details of the fees you paid?
- If you are attending classes, when did they start and where are you enrolled?

Please share this information. Thank you!

I completed my class 12th in 2023 from icse board in pcm I scored 43% mujhe btech karni thi aur mai eligible nhi thi to maine 2024 mein nios board mein registration karwaya just to improve my pcm marks so that mai btech ke liye eligible ho jau and I scored 58% in pcm I am from general category aur abhi mera admission aktu affiliated university mein hua hai jo greater Noida mein hai mai confuse hu aktu mein dual marksheet case accepted hai ya nhi baki meri college level ki document verification october mein ho gayi hai aktu se enrollment number bhi alot hua hai but usme preern show ho rha jo ki college wale bole ki yahi rahega hatega nhi preern se hi start hoga apka enrollment number I paid aktu registration fee in August and then enrollment number and examination fee in October
Ans: Hi,

Great!

You provided a lot of details, but your statement was still a bit confusing. From now on, whenever you have doubts and seek clarity from others, please provide them with proper details. Otherwise, you may not receive accurate answers.

I understand that you are pursuing a B.Tech at a private college affiliated with AKTU. However, you didn’t mention how you gained admission—did you gain it through counseling after appearing for JEE or CUET? I'm assuming you were admitted through counseling.

Regarding your query about whether NIOS marks will be accepted:

YES, they must ACCEPT them, and THEY WILL. Don't worry.

I have a few questions before I answer your query:

1. To be eligible, have you attempted 12th grade twice? Yes or No?
2. For the scoring marks, did you choose NIOS for your second attempt, while your first attempt was through CBSE? Yes or No?
3. In your first attempt, did you score 43%, and in your second attempt, did you score 58%? Yes or No?
4. Did you appear for the entrance exam (JEE or CUET)? Yes or No?
5. Did you register for UPTAC for counseling? Yes or No?
6. Did you get admission through counseling? Yes or No?

If you answer "YES" to all of these questions, then there should be no problems with your admission.

If your answer to the last question is "NO," then it might be due to your LOW SCORE. Additionally, since you belong to the open category, you may have opted for DIRECT ADMISSION to a PRIVATE INSITUTION affiliated with AKTU. Even in this case, the concerned institute must scrutinize your application before submitting it to the university; without that, they will not process it.

You have cleared all the necessary hurdles. Without going through a scrutiny process, you would not have been admitted. So, there is no need to worry about your admission. Be patient; you will surely receive a positive response from the university.

All the best!

Good afternoon sir In class 12th I have physical education as my additional subject Can I choose computer science as my subject in CUET UG exam
Ans: HI,
OF COURSE, it is possible to choose Computer Science in the CUET exam even if you had Physical Education as an additional subject in your 12th grade, as long as the university you are applying to for Computer Science or a related course allows it and its admission criteria do not mandate a specific 12th-grade subject.
Candidates can select any subject for the CUET exam, regardless of their 12th-grade subjects, but they must check the specific university's eligibility criteria for their desired course.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The crucial factor is the eligibility criteria set by your target university for the Computer Science course. Some universities, like Delhi University, have stricter rules about matching CUET subjects to your 12th-grade stream.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO......
1. Decide on the Computer Science course you wish to study and the universities you want to apply to.
2. Visit the website of your chosen universities and check their CUET eligibility criteria for the Computer Science program
3. Based on the university's requirements, select Computer Science as one of your CUET domain subjects.
4. You can choose up to five subjects from all three sections of the CUET exam, giving you the flexibility to select Computer Science.

If you want to pursue BSc Computer Science through CUET, you will typically need to take Physics, Mathematics (or Applied Mathematics), and either Computer Science or Informatics Practices as your domain subjects, along with any one language subject. It's crucial to check the specific university-wise subject mapping, as eligibility and required subjects can vary between institutions accepting CUET scores.

Ensure you have passed your 10+2 (Class 12) with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

I have provided almost all the information you requested. If you need further assistance, kindly reply.

I want know information about licence process
Ans: Hi Patil,

I would like to share information regarding the licensing process; however, you need to fulfill the requirements according to PCI norms first. Are you familiar with the PCI norms? Before I provide the details, I need to know more about the candidate inquiring about the registration process. There have been numerous fraudulent activities occurring in our field, which is why I am asking for complete details. I hope you understand.

According to the information provided, you joined the D.Pharm program in 2019 and completed the course in August 2021. You then underwent hospital training in December 2021. Subsequently, you enrolled in the B.Pharm program in December 2021 and are expected to complete it in August 2024.

However, there is a discrepancy: you have completed the B.Pharm in 2 years and 8 months, whereas the program duration should be 3 years. Even if we consider your admission in August 2021 and your completion in August 2024, this still amounts to 3 academic years. In this case, you would not have completed the hospital training. If you have indeed completed it, there appears to be an issue.

Both attending classes as per university norms and completing hospital training as per PCI requirements are mandatory, and both activities require physical attendance; online alternatives are not permitted. Furthermore, it is crucial to note that without completing the hospital training, you will not receive your Diploma certificate. The certificate is awarded only after the completion of this training.

While you may not perceive this as a mistake now, when pursuing government job opportunities or positions abroad, your credentials will be verified. If any suspicion arises, the authorities may send your documents to your university or college for confirmation.

I am unsure what actions you have taken regarding this matter; it is best to consult your institute. At least you completed the hospital training, which I acknowledged in my earlier response. On the other hand, your friend joined the B.Pharm program without completing the hospital training. According to PCI norms, to be eligible for the Diploma certificate, a candidate must clear PART-I (Diploma I year), PART-II (Diploma II year), and PART-III (successful completion of hospital training).

For your reference, I have extracted the relevant rules from the PCI guidelines, ER-1991, CHAPTER IV, POINT 23, PAGE NUMBER 26. [CHAPTER IV - POINT 23 CERTIFICATE OF DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY: A certificate of Diploma in Pharmacy shall be granted by the examining authority to a successful candidate on producing certificate of having passed the Diploma in Pharmacy Part I and Part II and satisfactory completion of Practical Training for Diploma in Pharmacy (Part-III)

i am 21 btech graduate from cse from dtu. i was recently denied ppo from my company which i got from my campus placements(it was an product manager intern role). i recently did my 6 month and now i am jobless. i want to go into tech but i didnt do rigorous coding only did dsa medium level and ml begineer level. should i prep for gate for old iits or should i try for off compus for web dev roles. but i have no idea. really confused, i really dont to waste my time and do something usefull for my parents. kindly suggest.
Ans: HI LOKESH,
I regret to say that the issue lies with your attitude. This kind of negative feedback is common in the industry. Securing a job before completing your course is challenging. You have achieved success, but at the same time, you have wasted opportunities. When you received your Pre-Placement Offer (PPO), the company might have assessed your performance, and if they felt you were not up to the mark, they would likely not consider you for a job. In such cases, they may relieve you from your internship after six months, although you might still receive an internship certificate.

If any candidate completes a six-month internship after the course, it could indicate they’re not fit for the purpose. This will reflect on your resume and affect your future prospects. I believe that you may have joined the job without genuine interest, which could also impact the careers of others around you.

You mentioned that you are not very eager to learn new things. It’s essential to change your attitude. You are aware of your strengths and weaknesses.

As you pointed out, you have two options available:
1. Job
2. Higher education

Even after pursuing higher education, you will still need to find a job. However, if you can secure a seat in an IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), it would be wise to pursue that path and plan for your job afterward. Additionally, by securing a seat through competitive exams, you may receive financial support from the government, relieving your parents of that burden.

You could also consider adding on programs or taking part-time work, such as web development (which I believe interests you), to earn money. Therefore, I recommend you focus on higher education before seeking a job.

Remember, whatever you choose to do should be for your own future, not just for your parents' sake.

All the best!

According to NEP2020 (CBCS pattern) a candidate can choose the following pattern.
A candidate admitted in the academic year 2025-26 has to complete the selected program by 2031-32 (on multiple exit and entry option under FOUR/THREE YEARS PROGRAM).
The UG program shall extend over FOUR ACADEMIC YEARS (Eight Semesters) with multiple entry and exit options. The students can exit a course as follows:
i) Certificate course: ONE academic year (I & II sem & a summer vocational course and community work).

ii) DIPLOMA COURSE: TWO academic years (FOUR SEM + SUMMER /VOCATIONAL COURSE AND COMMUNITY WORK).

iii) THREE-YEAR DEGREE COURSE WITH A SINGLE MAJOR (WITH 2 MINORS)

iv) THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE WITH DOUBLE MAJOR

v) THREE-YEAR DEGREE COURSE WITH THREE CORES AS MINOR STREAM (WITHOUT MAJOR).

vi) FOUR-YEAR HONOURS WITHOUT RESEARCH AND MAJOR

vi) FOUR YEARS HONOURS WITH RESEARCH
(EXTRACTED FROM SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSE)

MOST IMPORTANT:

Twinning courses pursuing simultaneous dual degree:
A student can pursue two academic programs one in full time PHYSICAL MODE and another in OPEN AND DISTANCE LEARNING/ONLINE MODE; or upto TWO ODL/ONLINE PROGRAMS SIMULTANEOUSLY, provided that in such, class timings for one program do not overlap with the class timings of the other programs.

CHANGE OF SUBJECTS:
A STUDENT CAN CHANGE HIS CORE (I) SUBJECT WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF THE LAST DATE OF ADMISSION WHIICH HAS TO BE DULY COMMUNICATED TO THE UNIVERSITY BY THE COLLEGE CONCERNED. THE CHOICE OF CORE (MAJOR/MINOR) SUBJECTS DURING THE FIRST ADMSSION TO THE 3RD SEMESTER HAS TO BE EXERCISED BY THE CANDIDATE AFTER PROPER COUNSELLING BY THE COLLEGE AUTHORITIES THRU THE CELL.

KINDLY NOTE:
It is important for you to decide which course you want to pursue.

In your case, your institute should offer various options ranging from certificate programs to four-year degrees. However, you have chosen the three-year program with two majors without referring to the institute's prospectus. It seems that the available options are not accurately reflected on the website. Even as an autonomous institute, they should keep their information updated and easily accessible. Therefore, I recommend discussing this matter with the principal, the department head, or other higher authorities at the institution. Additionally, I believe it may be possible to transfer from one university to another, but I am not entirely certain about this. I suggest checking the guidelines for more information.

Hello, sir, I had a doubt. The KEA website has released two second-round provisional results for medical and dental, one on the 10th and the other on the 20th. I’ve gotten a seat on the list released on the 10th. But l, I didn’t get a seat allotted in the list released on the 20th. And when I go to the portal, it’s showing “You are Stopped from the CET Admission Process” I did pay the caution deposit of 1,00,000 on time. What to do?
Ans: Hi,
Your concern is about the refund of the caution deposit, not about being stopped from the CET admission process.

If you have been stopped from the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) CET admission process and need to get your deposited caution deposit refunded, you will likely receive it back after a deduction for a processing fee, provided that the cancellation occurs before the mop-up round and not after a final forfeiture. To claim the refund, you will need to follow specific procedures, which include providing your bank account details to the KEA and submitting required documents, such as your admission order, challan, and verification slip. The refund is typically processed to the same account from which the deposit was made and can take up to 15 working days.
Procedure:

Reasons for Being Stopped:
There are various reasons, such as cancellation of a seat, failure to join an allotted institution, or other procedural issues. The status of your deposit will depend on the specific reason for being stopped, which you haven't mentioned.

Check the Specific Refund and Forfeiture Rules:
- Before the Mop-Up Round: If you cancel before the last date for mop-up option entry, a processing fee will be deducted, and the remainder of your deposit will be refunded.
- After the Mop-Up Round or After Seat Allotment Cancellation: If you cancel after the mop-up round or if your admission is canceled, the entire deposit may be forfeited.

Based on the above information, you can initiate the refund process.

To Initiate the Refund Process:
Provide Bank Details: To receive the refund, you must furnish your bank account details to KEA as per their instructions and deadlines.

Submit Required Documents: You will need to provide documents such as your admission order, challan, and verification slip to process the cancellation and refund.
