Hallo sir, My daughter neet aspirant 2026 & it's her 1st drop. She is a pcb student with computer. I want a backup course like bioinformatics or biotechnology for her. Which course will be better & which university/ college should i choose for her ..please suggest. I don't have vast knowledge about this.

Ans: Hi Sir,
Is it a first drop or attempt? Kindly clarify.
Congrats that your daughter wanting to become a doctor. So her main goal is to succeed in the NEET exam. In this context she should divert by doing some useless course that to the course (bioinformatica) that you have mentioned can be pursued online. Secondly, biotech course can't be pursued online. To get a qualification, one has to attend the course regularly, then only they or anyone can acquire skills in the BT stream...Many universities/colleges are not well-equipped for BT. I think you might have noticed that our government is planning to spend lakhs of crores for BIOPHARMA.
So my suggestion is, let her prepare for the NEET exam without any hindrance. Also, she should not divert from other aspects.
Best regards

Sir..It's her first drop in neet. That's why I want another option apart from neet. As a pcb student what will be a good option sir...pls suggest. She is interested in research field also.
Ans: Let her either concentrate on NEET or research.
To complete the UG in medicine, NEET is essential.
To do research, at least a few basic skills are required. At least a basic degree is required to think or to do, or to conduct.

For example, even a homemaker, whatever she does, a new thing is based on her own research with acquired skills.

After MBBS also she can also opt for research.
So being her first drop in NEET let her concentrate on NEET preparation alone rather than the junk of ALL and the master of NONE. If you prefer some other program, then both will dilute, and later you will need to do research on where you made a mistake.
Finally, my humble question to you, whether your daughter is interested in appearing for NEET or not? If not, do accordingly.
This is my suggestion.
With regards
