I cannot sleep till late night. Sometimes up to 4AM. There is plethora of thoughts running in my mind thru out the night. I admit that I over think. Over think about everything like my children health, there future, my health and future. Everything and anything keeps my brain active till late night.

Anxiety at night could be due to mental stress, but simple reason could also be late night food habits. Sleep is a ritual, one has to maintain a discipline - clean ambience, right time to sleep, eating at least 2-3hrs prior to sleep. To further assist you can practice meditation before sleeping 10-15 mins is also good, alternate breathing - starting from the left side in a slow and steady momentum. Listen to light music and you can also take help of aroma therapy to cut the thoughts and relax the mind - dont use cheap oils as they rather trigger the nerves.
