Can you clarify the subject please.
Ans: Intermittent fasting has a theory wherein we extend our body's time to detox as we fast more and more.. If we constantly eat, our body focusses most of our energy into digesting/absorbing/assimilating the food, instead of detoxifying our body. We need to reverse this. Intermittent fasting affects cholesterol levels due to the change in metabolism from glucose to ketones. The the amount of HDL increases and the amount of LDL is decreased. This favorably changes your cholesterol profile and reduces the risk of dyslipidemia, a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
