I am 46-year-old man and weigh 66kg. I do cycling twice, jogging twice, and body weight/yoga twice a week.
My query is regarding jogging. whenever I jog/run my max HR level goes to 175 after 1 km of running. I try to stretch a bit and do a 3km run by an HR 160.
When I compared this HR with my friends of the same age and elder than me their HR level never goes above 140 and averages around 130. Therefore, they run 5 to 10 km easily.
However, I participated in a marathon and completed 10km once in jan23 by intermittent walking and running (3km walking), my avg HR was 160, and max HR 180, which took 1hr 18min.
I cannot run more than 3km, as I am afraid off shooting up HR. I want to know my HR is normal and how should I take care while running. Also, suggest any remedies.
