How should I increase my weight iam 17 years old pure vegetarian , I have tried everything to increase my weight but it's not increasing?
Ans: Weight gain is a slow process. You may have an ectomorph body type with long with little body fat, and little muscle. Increase your protein intake from dairy products, soya, nuts, beans, lentils etc. to increase muscle mass contributing to weight gain. Carbohydrate intake should be majorly from high fiber fruits and vegetables along with whole grains and pulses. Eat small frequent calorie and nutrient dense meals. Exercise to strengthen your muscle group but do not burn too many calories with cardio or over exercising.
