Sir my daughter has got computer science and business systems at kj somaiyaa college of Eng mumbai and IT at mit bengalore . Her fees at kj is 18 lakhs with mess and hostel as she got scholarship there and at MIT bengalore its 26 lakhs . Fees isn’t an issue but what would be a better choice given she wants to do masters probably but after two years of work experience. Good placements and better opportunities is what I want from her college

Sir my daughter got mit bangalore IT and kj somaiyaa college of engineering mumbai CSBS ( computer science and business systems) which one should she consider?

Ans: Hi Tanvi
From an expense point of view, KJ Mumbai is quite expensive and not affordable to everyone.
You have not mentioned your home town, hence unable to guide you properly.
If distance is not a concern and worried about expenses. choose MIT Banglore

Sir I have got 60% scholarship at kj mumbai so my fees is 18 lakhs with mess and hostel there also at mit bengalore it is nearly 26 lakhs with mess and hostel . Which one would be better given that I want to go for masters after two years and also I want to get a good placement on campus

Sir my daughter getting cse in mit banglore and ecm vit chennai.which is better option

Ans: Tanvi Madam, prefer MIT-B-CSE which has good placement records. However, please just cross-check / research about the culture of the college which might not be suitable for some students. If you / your daughter feels OK, then she can go ahead.

Prefer Vidyavardhaka (which also has good placement records), if you prefer reduced tuition fees. All the BEST for Your Daughter's Bright Future.

I’m getting ece at jaypee noida also I have reserved my seat at Vit chennai in electronics and computers . I will also be able to get ece vlsi at mit Manipal and cse spec in data science at mit Bangalore but as the campus is new and the first batch wil pass in 2025 so I’m a bit sceptical about it. Please guide me what would be the best option for me I do have interest in cse but also the placements do matter for me. Also the fees of these colleges differ a lot as in vit I would pay around 18-20 lakhs including hostel for the 4 years and in mit I would pay around 27 lakhs for the four years. I will also be able to get state colleges like niet noida and akgit and abes with cse through uptu counselling

Ans: Tanvi, It is better to go for / prefer your top-ranked State Colleges (over VIT & Manipal). Whatever Institute / University & Branch you choose, you should keep upgrading your skills from the 1st year itself till your Campus Placement during the last year, from LinkedIn, Coursera, NPTEL, Internshala etc. and / or any other online platforms, recommended by your College Faculties, to be COMPETENT among other Students.
