Hi I'm a 34 year banker with 8 years of experience working in a national bank. I have pursued my computer science engineering from a not so famous college in 2012 which didn't offer any placement assistance which forced me to prepare for govt jobs like bank and ssc. However after working for 8 years in same bank I feel stuck here as the work pressure is too high due to shortage of staff ,unprofessional work environment, too much politics and heavy work load, no work-life balance at all, frequent transfers.
Please guide me whether I can switch my career now in finance field or switch to IT by doing some course ( data science, AI and ML) as I come from that field also my wife is also working in IT field.
Please guide me in this regard as it's very crucial decision of my life.

As already you have spent 24 years in Bank, it is suggested to continue in banking industry, however, you can change the domain from banking to IT.
