Hello, I am a private sector employee. I might have to move to the US for career growth in the next 3-4 years. One hesitation I have is related to my studies of my son. Although he is very young (currently in grade 1), I am particularly concerned about the foreign language requirement to graduate from middle and high school in the US. He is now learning Hindi and English in India. But I googled and found that in the US one has to learn foreign languages like Spanish in high school. So I don't know if he will be able to cope with that. Can you please guide about what should I do if I have to take the opportunity in USA?
Ans: Hello Soumyadeep,
First and foremost, thank you for contacting us. The United States of America is a place of opportunity. To begin, whether you intend to travel or relocate to the United States, the Visa category will determine the entry criteria. As you stated, your son is still fairly young, and if any language skill is required by a certain school/university/community college, they will notify you and make kids prepare as well. However, I'd like to caution you that not all of the information we acquire from Google is accurate. I hope this helps.
