how can a parent mould a child character and also improve IQ level
Ans: Dear Santhosh,
Children between the ages of 0-7 are impressionable and what is said to them or how they absorb things from their environment will form the blueprint of how they think and act in their future.
It is a well-known fact that children emulate their parents/primary caregivers...so, whosoever is raising the child must not just take care of the child's physical needs but also the emotional needs.
In the initial years, the quantity of time is equally important along with quality time. Also, stimulating the child through reading, story-enacting, playing board games and simply words games can enhance comprehension skills. Critical thinking can be enhanced by asking quality questions during problem solving.
Having said this, also do focus on loving and caring in the form of hugs; it aids in their emotional growth as they feel safe and secure.
This sets the child up to grow as a balanced individual who can take charge of himself/herself.
IQ will vary from child to child and unless you see any milestones being skipped, focus more on building the emotional character of the child. EQ (Emotional Quotient) is not just for survival but for thriving. That will be the biggest gift a parent can give their children
Best wishes!
