I am giving my 12th Science exam, I wish to pursue a career but not able to make a choice in Environmental Science, Clinical Psychology, marine biology ...please guide
Ans: The key to finding the right career is mapping your subject interest with a profession which equally intrigues you. While most Learners assume science is restricted to Physics, Chemistry and Biology, they will be surprised to know that the stream offers multiple options in terms of career. For example- Environmental Science is an extensive and widely accepted field which provides a vast scope of work in the government and private sectors. Similarly, if human behaviour intrigues one, clinical psychology offers excellent avenues. Going beyond Biology, Marine Biology provides both research and non-research career options as Learners can opt for a career in environmental laboratories, marine laboratories, fishery industry, tourism industry, journalism etc. At the core of this critical decision-making is figuring out which sector engages the Learner the most.
