I believe there is a misunderstanding about Pharm D. Pharm D is essentially the role of a clinical pharmacist, not a medical doctor. You cannot perform surgeries or similar procedures like a doctor; your primary responsibility is to assist physicians in prescribing medicines. In Western countries, pharmacists are allowed to prescribe medicines, unlike in India where this practice is still developing. Pharm D holds high value abroad, sometimes even more than MBBS. However, in India, this field is still growing slowly due to lack of proper training and development.
