Sir, my 65 yr old father complains of having left shoulder aching since a month. He once referred a doctor who suggested operation and that some nerve gets suppressed. But it eventually got ok in a month after mild circular arm exercise. The same problem is re-surfacing after almost 8-9 yrs. Is it any nervous problem? What should we do? Kindly address, if any exercise may help. He has hypertension and takes Embeta-50 TM, regulates proper diet and sodium intake.
Ans: Posture need to be checked. How does he sit while reading, watching TV
Does he lie down and watch TV?
How big a pillow does he use to sleep?
Apart from these checks regular exercises for the neck and shoulders are good
Please enroll him to a good physio clinic for regular exercising
