My self Kailash Chandra, during the last week of January 2022, went to Varanasi from Dehradun to attend the marriage function for about three days. While returning from train from Delhi to Dehradun, I had severe cold and fever followed by numbness and unbearable pain only in right hand, which continued to several days after medication. Which is still persisting in the tip of the right thumb.
What may be the reason for the same and when it will be cured completely?
Ans: Sleeping to one side with arms kept under the pillow might have compressed certain nerves. Your pain in the right hand could, have been due to this and not due to cold and fever. The nerve which got compressed recovers by itself unless otherwise you have Vit B12 deficiency in which case it may take a little longer time.
