I'm Ravi, age 43 year, my blood sugar randomly up/down between 110 & 240 since last 8 years... during this period I loose my weight 10 Kg (80 t0 70). I want to increase my weight... I am also overthinker and feel stressed some times. please suggest me diet plan and type of exercise to benefit to me.
Ans: When you lose weight due to your blood sugar levels not being in control, you lose your lean or muscle mass. This lowers your energy levels and stamina. You should focus on weight training with a diet rich in lean protein to increase muscle weight. Your blood sugar levels must be maintained in the normal levels with a diet low in fat and high in complex carbohydrates. Include foods like whole grains, pulses and legumes, fruits and vegetables, eggs, lean meat etc. Stress will lead to more erratic blood sugar levels. So meditation will be beneficial.
