Hi Doctor, I was diagnosed with Diabities in July 2024. At that Time. My BSL(F) - 282. BSL PP was 486. Hb1AC was 11 and average glucose was 270. Weight was 79 KGs. Height 5.6 ft
Thereafter my doctor adviced me for lifestyle changes (diet and 3km walk daily ) and medication started with Metformin 500 SR and (Glicazide 30mg + Metformin 300) both tablets once a day.
However after 15 days glicazide was discontinued due to hypoglicemic issues.
Only metformin 500 SR is consumed since then.
In meanwhile BSL (F) ranged was around 95-110. and PP 120-140.
3 months over now. had HB1AC came to 6. BSL (F) - 79. weight 74 kgs.
what further shall i do to reduce hb1ac and wieght
Ans: If you had these readings so quickly and within 3 months, it seems one of the reports was wrong.
Healthy lifestyle and continuation of medication is advised. Alongside, please get a comprehensive blood tests done. You current approach is just the sugar control. However, the approach has to be cardio-metabolic syndrome management.
