I'm 77 years old, male retired from sevice. I'm staying in an old age home after my wife refused to have intimate living. I suffer from diabetes and hypertension. I control them with diet, medicines and walking. I still have some libido left in me. Please suggest me some means to get rid off libido

Have you tried any lifestyle adjustments? For instance, taking up mild physical activities like walking, light jogging, and yoga can help reduce your urges and keep you physically and mentally engaged otherwise. These are excellent choices for your health conditions as well. You can also try meditation to be more in control of your mind and body. Engaging in hobbies is also a good option. Not only to reduce your libido but also to be positively occupied in something that brings you joy. Last but not least, social interaction. Make friends in your current residence. Spend time with them. Spend time with family members; social interactions reduce the feeling of loneliness which might be contributing to your libido.

Having said it all, I would also like to nudge you to see a professional counselor, if your libido is causing you serious concerns. They can give you a structured plan to control it.
