I am a retired. Government Employee . Now I am having 40 lakhs carpus fund with me. I am getting Rupees 75000.monthly pension. Which type of Mutual fund I can. Invest.

Ans: Hi,

Comgratulations on your retirement. As you are a retired Government employee and getting monthly pension of Rs. 75,000, I can assume that this amount is sufficient for your daily needs.
Also hope that you have a health insurance for your family to keep up with increased medical cost.

I understand you want to invest a lumpsum of 40 lakhs. Without a proper goal mentioned by you, I can suggest you to go for a mix of hybrid and large cap funds. This will prevent your amount from higher volatility and also increase it with time.

For the exact fund names, kindly get connected to a Certified Financial Planner - CFP and get started with your investments as this is the best time to invest.

Best Regards,
Reetika Sharma, CFP
