A pvt school teacher working as a prt with basic pay of 60 k retires at the age of 53 after completing 27 years of service How much min pension will the person get and gratuity

Ans: Hi,

Private employees do not get pension benefit. You will only get PF that has been accumulated ove the years. You will find details in salary slip.
Gratuity in this will be 9.3 lakhs.

I worked in Private company 1991 till 2007 after I stop working in india, since 2007 after me working in Abroad how much should I expect my pension amount after my age 55 as my Basic salary and D.A.that last period is as Basic 8510 and D.A 6051 .Pls can I know how much could I receive pension. Good day Sir, I am working in a MNC company for last 17 years. I am going to retire 30 th January 2025. My Basis salary is Rs 28089/- & my contribution to PF is Rs 3371/- per month & as per procedure same amount also contribute from my employer towards my PF account. I have joined this organisation on 10 th Dec 2010. & expect a contribution nearly Rs 190000 in my Employees Pensoins Scheme. Request what will be my my monthly pension after retirement.

You are 55, working in Dubai, and currently covered under your company’s medical insurance worldwide. That cover is excellent, but please remember one important thing: it ends the day your employment ends. Health insurance planning has to look beyond employment.

Can you take a health insurance policy in India at age 60?
Yes, you can. Most insurers in India do allow entry at 60 years and even later.
However, at that age:

Premiums are significantly higher

Medical tests and scrutiny are much stricter

Any lifestyle condition or past medical history can lead to waiting periods, exclusions, or higher premiums

So while it is possible, it is not ideal to start fresh at 60.

Will taking a policy now help reduce premium later?
The bigger benefit is not just premium, but certainty and continuity.

If you take a policy now at 55:

You enter at a lower age slab

Mandatory waiting periods (usually 2–4 years) get completed well before retirement

By the time you are 60, the policy becomes mature and far more useful
