I had 100 Tata motors shares from 2014. last year 31 shares they transferred to the IEPF account without any intimation for not claiming the dividend of 2015 ( Rs.6.5 total) . I submitted all the documents they listed in the instruction mail once I wrote to the company including indemnity, affidavit and others. filed the IEPF form-5 in the website and sent it to Tata motors for verification. They didn't do the verification within the time frame and all my efforts are wasted now. I have spent around Rs.2000 for these additional process also. What can I do now? Can I file a consumer case against Tata motors since the lapse happened from their side? Or is it any scam? Right from the beginning, I was not getting any support from the company.

Ans: Hello;

You may register complaint with exchange (BSE/NSE).

If the concern still remains unresolved you may escalate to Sebi.

Online complaint filing should be possible with all these agencies however you need to have soft copies of documentary evidences to be furnished to substantiate your case.

Best wishes;
