Respected Madam, I am 46 year old married lady. I hv a teenaged son. Without being Anorexic, in fact I love food, I hv been able to maintain a good weight of 62 kgs till now. Monthlies I hv been skipping two since past two years. Hot flashes, sweat breakouts are manageable, bit of insomnia. Madam suddenly my weight has been spiral King out of control, stomach is bloating and I hv jumped a size in the stomach sizes. I hv been able to continue a good nutrition regime so far and am quite aware of water retention and salt Intakes and eating proper portions for my age. All this won’t work now it seems ma’am. Pls help me out as I take on these peri menopausal years. I hv a severe phobia of weight gain. And my stomach is gaining first!! Also madam I walk a lot, around minimum 2 to 4kms thrice a week.(goes up when I hv time in hand) I hv been doing this for many years now. Still am gaining stomach weight.

Ans: Please do exercices to tone up the abdominal muscles and defelop core strength.
Perimenopausally weight gain do happen if it is too much then you could meet a functional Nutritionist
